FTD Books is pleased to announce the release of “The Making Of G.I. Blues.” This 65th-anniversary commemorative edition is presented in a deluxe, individually numbered collector’s box.

Book 1 – The Movie: “The Making Of G.I. Blues – The Movie”: a deluxe hardcover, coffee table-style book with 384 pages, containing many newly discovered photographs, details on deleted scenes, script pages, shooting schedule, memos, contracts, as well as memories from the cast and crew.

Book 2 – The Music: an 84-page book with photos, documents, and detailed information about the recording sessions.

In addition, the set contains 5 CDs presenting, for the first time, the complete recording sessions of the Elvis Presley soundtrack, from the original 3-track stereo tapes, sequenced in recording order.

Also included is a special collector’s edition 33 RPM vinyl record, a double EP with illustrated cover art. Everything is packaged in a luxury box, individually numbered (with a sticker).
